Fall Festival & Chili Cook-Off
The Big Lake Chamber of Commerce will
sponsor its 4th annual Fall Festival & Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, September
9, 2006 from noon to 4 p.m. at Sunset View Bed & Breakfast Resort. With
beautiful grounds right on the shoreline of scenic Big Lake, Sunset View B&B
provides a spectacular setting for an afternoon of food, fun, and fabulous
chili !!
This year's Fall Festival & Chili Cook-Off will feature a "Display of Dahlias", making it more festive than ever. There will be live music, dancers, pony rides, dog sled rides with Iditarod musher G.B. Jones, mobile massage, a mini-carnival, games for the kids, face painting, many different food and crafts vendors, and of course, the Chili Cook-Off!
Dust off your favorite chili recipe and get your taste buds ready for some feisty feasting! If you like to make chili, or just like to eat it, this is the place for you! Once all the chili entries are officially judged, it is open season for all you can eat chili !!!
